Role Overview Application Support & Operations Own the daytoday operational support of the legacy ERP application Monitor system health, performance, and scheduled jobs/batches Investigate and resolve application incidents, errors, and service interruptions Perform root cause analysis and implement longterm fixes User & Business Support Act as primary contact for ERP user queries, issues, and how do I? questions Triage, prioritise, and resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs Document and communicate workarounds and solutions in a userfriendly way Conduct adhoc user training and knowledgesharing sessions Maintenance & Enhancements Implement configuration changes, small enhancements, and bug fixes Support data maintenance activities (data corrections, reconciliations, imports/exports) Assist with periodic upgrades, patches, and security updates where applicable Maintain and improve scripts, batch jobs, and integrations with surrounding systems Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with operations, finance, supply chain and other business teams using the ERP Support the infrastructure, database, and network to resolve crossdomain issues Collaborate with external vendors or support partners (where applicable) Governance, Documentation & Continuous Improvement Maintain clear technical and operational documentation, Standard Work (SOPs) Document known issues, FAQs, and support processes in a structured way Identify opportunities to stabilise and streamline ERPrelated processes Contribute to risk, security, and compliance activities related to the ERP Required Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 2 years experience. Eligibility Australian citizen. Technical Expertise Experience supporting businesscritical applications, ideally ERP or similar (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, etc.) Comfortable working with older/legacy technology stacks, such as one or more of: onpremises clientserver systems, older relational databases, legacy integration tools, batch processing frameworks, or older programming languages (4GLs) Strong skills in SQL for troubleshooting, data analysis, and data corrections Familiarity with Unix/Linux servers, logs, and basic system administration concepts Understanding of application operations, incident management, and change management processes Business Acumen Strong problemsolving mindset and attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills Strong business analysis and problemsolving skills Proactively engages with crossfunctional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses Leadership Excellent communicator, works well in a team environment, and welcomes challenges Selfstarter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics At GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
