About the role We are currently looking for a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to joinour Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in our Canberraoffice. In this role you will be involved in a diverse range oflitigation and public law matters, including administrative review,commercial litigation, investigations and advising. Our focus isproviding sound and practical advice for public sector clients. The work is interesting, complex and challenging which will seeyou working closely alongside exceptional litigators andlike-minded professionals in a collaborative team environment withcolleagues across Maddocks national offices. You will berecognised for personal achievements and receive mentoring toensure your professional skills continue to grow and develop. About you Ideally you will have public sector and / or civil litigationexperience, knowledge of court practice and processes and you willbe confident in utilising your proven analytical and draftingskills. Someone who is strategic, can draft persuasively and has aclient focused attitude will find themselves succeeding in thisrole. In addition you will have: An enquiring and curious approach to work Litigation and / or administrative review experience(advisory, litigation, mediation, arbitration, hearings) Strong technical, drafting and research skills Sound judgment and a can-do attitude An engaging manner with excellent communication skills atall levels Strong attention to detail Maddocks is simply a great place to do great work.
