Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those involved with the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities, and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The division also leads the department''s Closing the Gap work. Responsibilities managing planning requirements including the coordination and cyclical review of business plans,frameworks, reporting and maintaining governance systems establishing and managing effective relationships with executives, leaders and other key stakeholders toensure timely and accurate provision of information to comply with various reporting and otherrequirements coordinating corporate reporting and information processes to ensure effective and efficient contributionto wholeofgovernment requirements including Portfolio Statements, Estimates, Annual Report, parliamentary briefings and others as required contributing to the continuous improvement of the directorate by planning and coordinating workshops,meetings and other events that promote effective collaboration by the leadership team and other seniorstaff on significant issues impacting the directorate assisting in the continuous improvement of reporting and information management processes andpractices across the directorate. Must hold a current Australian issued drivers licence (equivalent to minimum class C). Experience in preparing reports under the National Redress Scheme and Experience in Freedom of Information procedures would be highly regarded.
