Youll work across complex innovative initiatives utilising Heat as a Service, where emerging technology, commercial models and community outcomes intersect. From early feasibility and business case development, youll be the one driving the initiative forward, taking ownership from concept to commissioning and completion. Youll be leading projects that demand more than standard delivery approaches and rewarding those who can turn ambitious ideas into tangible outcomes. This project is the first of its kind in the country, seeing you navigate uncertainty, influence direction and create delivery pathways where none previously existed. This role is about creating a legacy. It will see you at times travel outside our region, committing to managing budgets, contracts, procurement and risk to ensure the project delivers long-term value. Youre a skilled and versatile Project Manager thriving in environments where projects are complex, innovative and highly visible. You bring experience delivering infrastructure or capital projects where ambiguity exists, where advanced solutions are required to achieve practical, value-driven outcomes. Commercially savvy, with proven capability in financial management, contract administration, risk mitigation and stakeholder negotiation, youre confident influencing decisions at all levels. You build trusted relationships, leading diverse teams through collaboration, maintaining accountability for safety, performance and delivery. Your communication style allows you to engage technical experts, contractors, senior leaders and community stakeholders with equal credibility. Your qualifications in mechanical or process engineering will be tested but your experience in managing complex projects and stakeholders will support your success in the role. Above all youre capable at managing ambiguity whilst keeping momentum on complex projects.
