Department for Education Job reference: 837802Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: Short Term ContractEligibility: Open to Everyone About The Role The Departments Family Day Care Programs oversees the delivery of highquality homebased care for children through Family Day Care (FDC), Guardianship Family Day Care and Respite Care programs, in line with the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care, the South Australian Children and Young Peoples Safety Act and National Disability Insurance Scheme. The Quality Manager Family Day Care Programs is responsible for monitoring and leading quality practice practices, with an initial focus on family day care, expanded to other programs over time. The primary focus of the role is on maintaining continuum across compliance and quality, ensuring that the service remains abreast of requirements, contemporary practices and knowledge. The role involves leading the development and overseeing the implementation of quality improvement plans across the service. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: A tertiary qualification in early childhood or equivalent Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
