Competency and Clinical Skills Required: Acute patient assessments (including vital signs, neurological observations, pain assessments) Wound care management Medication administration and management (IV, SC, IM, and oral medications) Management of IV lines, and cannulas Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration Infection prevention and control practices Clinical handovers Emergency response including BLS (Basic Life Support) Use of hospital electronic medical records (EMR) and charting systems Requirements Minimum 12 months of general (Acute) nursing experience or 25 years experience for specialised nursing experience in AUSTRALIAN HOSPITALS - ESSENTIAL APHRA registration - ESSENTIAL Must have valid visa with working rights, are Australian permanent resident or citizen (and residing in Australia currently) - ESSENTIAL Valid National Police Check Current CPR certificate Fully COVID19 vaccinated (in line with state requirements) NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Valid drivers licence, reliable vehicle, and mobile phone Apply Today!
