Senior Development Manager - Industrial and Defence Renewal SA is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Development Manager Industrial & Defence to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects across our Industrial and Defence portfolio. This is your chance to sit at the forefront of South Australias most significant industrial and defence developments enabling investment, supporting sovereign capability, attracting industry partners, and creating world-class employment precincts with long-term economic impact. Youll lead projects end-to-end from early planning and commercial structuring through to delivery while providing strategic leadership, mentoring high-performing teams, and working closely with industry, government and defence stakeholders to deliver outcomes that truly move the dial for the state. Importantly, youll be playing a key role in providing key employment land opportunities and precincts for the future benefit of South Australia. Key responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of complex Industrial and Defence development projects across key precincts and strategic sites Develop and implement strategies and commercial approaches to achieve best-practice development outcomes Provide strong leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and performance Manage project budgets, capital works and revenue outcomes to maximise value for money Identify and manage project risks, compliance and safety obligations Build strong relationships with government, defence, industry partners and internal stakeholders About You Youre a strategic and results-driven leader with proven experience in industrial/commercial development and project delivery. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing competing priorities while keeping teams motivated and focused on achieving transformative outcomes.
