Were looking for a passionate and skilled Traffic Engineer or Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Planning and Mobility team in Adelaide. What Youll Do This is a great opportunity for an experienced Traffic Engineer to provide expertise on: Project Delivery Contribute to or lead small to midsized traffic engineering projects across planning, design, and delivery phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, clientfocused transport solutions. Technical Analysis & Design Undertake traffic impact assessments, intersection and network modelling, and access strategies. Develop concept designs for intersections and active transport networks, incorporating road safety and multimodal transport. Client Engagement & Proposals Support or lead client engagement to understand project needs and deliver tailored solutions. Assist in or lead the preparation of technical proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation. Quality & Compliance Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, safetyindesign principles, and SHEQ requirements. Conduct or support road safety audits and crash data analysis. Work closely with peers and senior staff to share knowledge and develop technical capabilities. Participate in professional development initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil or related field). 210 years experience in traffic engineering. Proficiency in SIDRA, LinSig, AutoCAD, and AutoTURN. Skills in GIS, Aimsun, or Vissim will be well regarded but are not essential. Road Safety Auditor accreditation (desirable). Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
