This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-style meals and understands the importance of food in enhancing quality of life for older people.Desired Skills & Experience for Cook:Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)Previous experience as a Cook in Aged Care (preferable)Assist in the preparation of food and serving of mealsExceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staffCommitment to providing quality services to residentsKnowledge of infection control proceduresExperience in catering/kitchen handGeneral kitchen cleaning and maintenanceMaintain high standards of cleanliness and hygieneFood safety experience in a healthcare setting desirablePeople enjoy working at Thompson Health Care as we are able to provide staff with a safe and supportive environment.
