The team represents predominately developer and large land-owning clients and also act on behalf of some longterm Council clients and benefit from a strong pipeline of work.The role involves working closely with a leading Partner on a wide range of planning and environment law matters across Queensland including:Planning law advice, appeals and applications;Environmental law and regulatory advice and litigation;Enforcement advice and litigation including prosecutions; andPreparation, review and drafting infrastructure agreements and planning schemes.Who We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have at least 5 years'' experience in a reputable planning and environment practice in Queensland. Candidates with an existing client base will be highly regarded, though not essential.The successful applicant will be an integral member of a high performing team and offer strong leadership qualities as a senior practitioner. You will possess persuasive written communication and advocacy skills.
