You''ll be responsible for researching, improving, and developing machine learning models and utilising generative AI solutions to optimise external and internal customerfacing tools and processes.This role requires a blend of technical prowess, strategic thinking, and collaboration across crossfunctional teams. You will be at the heart of a fastpaced, high growth environment where you will help drive realworld impact.What will I be doing?Lead the research and development of stateoftheart data science solutions to address emerging business needs and market expansion opportunities.Developing cuttingedge AI technologies, with the intent to scale and ''productise'' across the organisationConduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, insights, and verify hypotheses to identify not only what is happening, but why it is happening and what it meansAnalyse A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and processesCommunicate complex technical concepts and insights to nontechnical stakeholders effectivelyPartner with product managers, software engineers, data/ML engineers and UX designers to operationalise and enhance productiongrade data science servicesCreate and maintain dashboards to present insights and performance metricsEnsure all data analysis adheres to privacy and security policiesWhat are we looking for?4+ years of industry experience in providing data science solutionsStrong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning techniquesWorked on projects leveraging traditional AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AIFamiliarity with various aspects of Generative AI, including context engineering, RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration and evaluationExperience with modern Agentic AI Frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraphDesign and implement AI safety guardrails to ensure trustworthy, compliant model behaviour in productionExperience with version control and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub.Proficiency in ML model development and analytics tools such as PythonFamiliarity with data visualisation and data storytellingInitiative and ownership to deliver work with autonomyCollaboration skills to partner effectively with multiple stakeholdersA "solutions mindset" of natural curiosity and a strong motivation to solve problems, no matter how complicated or ambiguous they might beComfort with ambiguity, a fastpaced environment, and rapid business growthAbove all else, a "cando" attitude is the most important qualification!What else would make a difference?Knowledge and experience in twosided marketplacesKnowledge and experience of the care industry including both aged care and disability careExperience and/or knowledge in probabilistic machine learning models, enhancing prediction accuracy and uncertainty estimation.Experience and/or knowledge in deep learning models, leveraging neural networks to conquer complex prediction tasks and highdimensional data.Proficiency in working with unstructured data, particularly text.Proficiency with data/analytics platforms such as Databricks and AWS.Previous experience in A/B test design and feature effectiveness analysis.We''re powered by purposeWe''re powered by purpose.We''re Switch OnWe know our customers because we listen and want to learn.
