Our culture club provides opportunities for everyone whether you''re into fitness, pizza making classes, socialising or bringing out your competitive side in trivia or lawn bowls!What You Will Be Working OnReport to, assist and maintain a close working relationship with Senior Legal Counsel APAC and the APAC Legal Team, in order to support the wider APAC Senior Management team to deliver the strategic objectives of the region whether through everyday transactional or strategic project work.Review and negotiate a range of contracts for various vendors engaged by CMC Markets across the region, requiring strong skills in contract review and legal analysis.General advice in response to regulatory matters (including financial services and privacy law) and ad hoc matters.Assist with the management and review of CMC Markets legal disclosure documents and other terms for both the CFD and stockbroking businesses in Australia, New Zealand and any new jurisdiction from time to time.Work closely with various parts of the APAC business including Partners, Compliance, Disputes, Marketing and HR.Liaise with the APAC Legal Team and globally, where relevant, to ensure that knowledge and relevant information is shared.What Type Of Person Will Be Successful35 PQE with an unrestricted practising certificate. You''ll have a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, with the ability to clearly communicate complex legal issues to a nonlegal audience. Your excellent organisational, analytical, and negotiation skills enable you to work effectively both independently and within crossfunctional teams. You''ll be a trusted partner to the business, providing practical legal support across both transactional matters and strategic projects. An interest in financial technology, and a willingness to dive into the technical aspects of CFD and stockbroking will be highly valued in this role.
