This is a casual position, 2 or 3 days a week with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Working as part of a multidisciplinary health team, you will contribute to: Promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates Ensuring the safety and security of inmates, staff, and the community Providing a respectful and professional environment for staff, inmates, and visitors This role allows you to make a real difference by supporting individuals with complex needs while maintaining high standards of clinical care within a secure setting. What Youll Bring Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Minimum 2 years clincal experience in mental health and/or drug and alcohol programs (full-time or part time equivalent) Relevant post graduate qualifications in mental health or drug and alcohol; or working towards same; or extensive experience working in drug and alcohol field Experience in conducting health assessments and case management of patients health careStrong understanding of drug and alcohol issues, dual diagnosis, and chronic disease Sound knowledge of common mental health concerns Cultural awareness across diverse backgrounds and contemporary issues Ready to make a difference?
