Position Details Employment Type: Permanent Part Time; 20 hours per week Position Classification: Enrolled Nurse Remuneration: $33.77 - $36.70 per hour + Annual leave loading + Superannuation Location: Concord Repatriation General Hospital Requisition ID: REQ642221 About the Role Yaralla House on the Dame Eadith Walker Estate, located on the Yaralla Estate grounds covering 37 hectares on the banks of the Parramatta River at Concord West. Yaralla House currently has 12 permanent residents who receive 24/7 nursing, allied health and medical care to assist with activities of daily living, medication and behaviour management. The residents are closely supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team of nurses, primary care physicians, immunologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, and a Diversional and Occupational Therapist. The plan of care is to assist with the management of BPSD, mental health and care of the older person with HIV. The Enrolled Nurse works under the guidance of Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse in collaboration with Registered Nurses, multidisciplinary team and others to provide safe, compassionate, person centred care. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible at all times for his/her actions and is accountable for delegated nursing care. Ideal Candidate Current enrollment with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EN with medication endorsement, including oral and intravenous competencies. Must hold a valid NSW driver''s licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable). Ability to work rotating roster 5 shifts per fortnight. All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
