About The Role Operating within the Faculty of Education And Arts, the Associate Dean, Partnerships and Innovation provides strategic academic leadership to strengthen relationships with school systems (Catholic, independent, public), government agencies, and industry partners, while driving business development and product innovation. The role ensures alignment with jurisdictional priorities and national strategies, fosters partnerships that enhance the faculty''s reputation and reach nationally and internationally. The role is responsible for delivering against agreed Faculty education sector and industry partnership priorities, driving the collaborative development of new products related to award and non-award courses and research, to develop mutually determined outcomes. An important component of the role will be to broker and support cross-university partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting faculty colleagues across schools, institutes and centres to develop sustained partnerships to advance the faculty''s research, teaching and commercialisation agendas. This opportunity comprises a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) academic assignment of Associate Dean, Partnerships and Innovation for a period of three (3) years, renewable based on performance and underpinned by a continuing academic E level appointment, dependent on the experience, expertise and capability of the successful candidate. Total remuneration valued to $260,037 - $260,037 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $220,723 - $220,723 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level E Increment 1), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The assignment of Associate Dean, Partnerships and Innovation provides attracts a higher duties allowance of $20,000 per annum (pro rata). 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks'' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
