UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey About The Role Managing scope including upgrade of existing railway signalling infrastructure, and construction and commissioning of new railway signalling infrastructure in both greenfield and brownfield environments. Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required. Managing the effective set-up, delivery and completion of the project including establishing relevant systems. Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and quality. Effectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications. Monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required. About You Minimum 7 years experience with the Rail Signalling Industry - ESSENTIAL Manage self and team within discipline to deliver work between $10 and $50M Proven ability to develop methodologies to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteria Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plans Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering (Mech or Elec.) at degree level will be preferred but not essential Queensland Rail Engineering Statement of Competency will be preferred but not essential Experience in reviewing design documentation, providing constructive critic (constructability input) and implementing final designs.
