Job Description

GENUS is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals for an upcoming Project located at Anderson Point, Port Hedland WA. This is a brownfields construction scope within an operating iron ore facility, delivering key infrastructure upgrades across site. We are inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following roles: Electrical Supervisors with S26 Leading Hands Electricians Must hold a WA Electrical licence HSE Advisor Minimum 5 years experience Storeperson Peggy Crane Operator Rigger / Dogman Operator Mobilisation is expected mid-March, with ongoing works anticipated for approximately 9 months. Project Details Location: Anderson Point, Port Hedland WA Roster: 2:1 FIFO Hours: 12-hour days Project Type: Brownfields construction (live plant environment) Duration: Approx. 9 months Competitive hourly rates + penalties + site allowances Project Scope The Works Include Installation of new cable ladder on existing conveyors Relocation of above-ground and below-ground services to enable construction of a new surge building Inground services and conveyor infrastructure relocation Electrical diversion and rerouting works around a new surge bin Installation of new site-wide power feed Role Responsibilities (Position Dependent) Electrical Supervisors Provide strong site leadership within a live plant environment Drive safe execution of works in accordance with FMG and project requirements Coordinate crews, shutdown activities, and daily planning Leading Hands Support supervision and coordinate work fronts Maintain productivity and compliance with safety standards Electricians Cable installation (above and underground) Cable tray, ladder and conduit installation Glanding and terminations Tie-ins within live plant areas Support commissioning preparation HSE Advisor Provide onsite safety leadership and compliance oversight Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations Promote a proactive safety culture across all crews Facilitate toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safety interactions Site Storeperson Manage onsite materials and logistics Maintain inventory control and reporting Ensure stores and laydown areas remain clean, organised, and compliant Coordinate deliveries to site and internal work fronts Support mobilisation and demobilisation of stores equipment Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders Peggy / Site assistant Maintain site facilities and crib rooms Support site cleanliness and daily amenities Collect and distribute tools, materials, and PPE Undertake general labouring duties as required Crane Operator Operate cranes safely within a brownfield''s environment Support shutdown and installation works Completing pre-starts, inspections, load restraint, and maintaining plant to a high safety standard Rigger / Dogman Operator Perform rigging, dogging, and lifting activities Ensure compliance with lift plans and site procedures Requirements (Role Dependent) Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (Electricians) Current CPR / LVR Construction White Card Valid Drivers Licence EWP Working at Heights HRWL (where applicable) Brownfields experience highly regarded FMG inductions highly desirable If you are looking to secure a role on a major project with a consistent 2:1 FIFO roster, we encourage you to submit your Expression of Interest. #J-18808-Ljbffr
