About the Role This is a hands-on role that blends proactive, strategic candidate sourcing and recruitment expertise with occasional broader HR generalist responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Talent Acquisition Execute end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles (tech, product, engineering, sales, marketing, etc.) Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, write job ads, and execute hiring plans Manage job postings, direct sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference and police checks Drive inclusive hiring practices and support employer branding efforts Build talent pipelines and contribute to workforce planning Ensure a positive, consistent candidate experience at every stage Provide guidance and support to leaders new to the recruitment process. Owns the execution of sploses recruitment and onboarding processes. People Partnering Involved across the entire employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on talent acquisition activities based on business demand. Provide first-line HR support and advice to employees. Support performance and feedback cycles, including probation reviews. Help implement and maintain people policies, procedures, and systems. Collaborate on engagement and wellbeing initiatives. Contribute to projects such as HRIS implementation, employee engagement initiatives, policy development and implementation. What you''ll bring 5+ years recruitment experience within the software industry and functional understanding of the competitive landscape Deep sourcing capability across Technology, Software Engineering, Product (development and design), Marketing, and Sales within Australia. Experience recruiting in the UK would be an advantage. Proven experience managing end-to-end hiring in fast-paced environments. Some understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices. Deep interest and willingness to be involved and contribute in all areas of people and culture. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is highly desirable. Tech-savvy and experienced with HRIS and ATS platforms. Familiarity with tools like Rippling, Google Workspace, Slack, and Confluence is a strong advantage.
