About the role As the Senior Improvement Partner, you will play a critical role within the Continuous Improvement team, part of the Allied Health, Strategy, Improvement & Experience directorate at Eastern Health. You will support the delivery and evolution of the Improving Performance Together framework by applying practical improvement systems that empower staff and teams to solve meaningful problems and identify opportunities for change. Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, you will provide leadership in building a culture and capability for continuous improvement across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams across all programs, directorates, and campuses, coaching and advising on initiatives that align with Eastern Healths strategic priorities. In this role, you will apply structured improvement methodologies, including Lean and PDSA, and use data analysis toolssuch as run charts and statistical process control chartsto inform decision-making and drive measurable improvements in performance, processes, and outcomes. A key focus will be supporting the implementation of Eastern Healths Continuous Improvement Capability Framework, where you will deliver tools, templates, and training that strengthen organisational capability and help foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: At least 3 years experience in redesign and improvement working with healthcare clinicians and delivering successful change in a complex healthcare environment, Experience in training and coaching senior staff in improvement, project and change management An understanding of improvement science with prior experience in healthcare improvement projects and formal or currently undertaking training in improvement methodologies Superior communication skills, both verbal and written Self-motivated and able to work under pressure both independently and within a team A commitment to improving the patients experience of their healthcare Tertiary qualification in health-related field (i.e. clinical qualification and/or health management) Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
