Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brisbane, QLD, for a Principal Electrical Engineer. The position involves designing, reviewing, and managing high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical reticulation systems, conducting protection studies, leading earthing and grid designs, and developing reliability and improvement programs. The role also includes managing power quality, network connections, demand management, and data analysis. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee implementation, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines. Qualifications Strong expertise in HV and LV reticulation design, protection studies, and electrical system planning Proficiency in earthing and earth grid design, network connection, and power quality analysis Experience with data manipulation, reliability analysis, and improvement programs Project management skills, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and meet deadlines Proficient in all relevant engineering software and tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with eligibility for professional registration Familiarity with the mining and heavy industry sectors is a strong advantage Knowledge of safety and compliance standards within the engineering and mining industries #J-18808-Ljbffr
