Reporting to the Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading one of our civil construction crews to improve the civil assets in our shire. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria: Certificate IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent) OR must agree to obtain Certificate IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent) Work Health and Safety Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) AND a Current Class C Drivers License Extensive experience in Leading and supervising a team on civil construction projects Extensive experience in all aspects civil construction, Council construction specifications including kerb & gutter, drainage and footpaths Understanding of level control and equipment setup Ability to read and understand civil construction plans What We Can Offer You Located on Sydneys southern fringe, Wollondilly Shire Council spans 2,560 km of natural bushland, scenic waterways, and vibrant, welcoming communities.
