Located in: Hastings The Team & Role Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team working with children experiencing mild to moderate development delays and make a meaningful difference with early intervention. This role balances direct clinical work, capacity building and community connection with a variety of clinic, and collaboration work. A day in the life Start your morning on site with a friendly and supportive team of Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Early Educational Advisors, Dietitians and Podiatrists, all collocated, making collaboration easy and genuine Complete Initial Assessments using a holistic familycentred approach informed by the social model of health Deliver shortterm, goalfocused therapy that builds a child''s everyday participation at home, kindergarten or school A focus on children with mild to moderate delays see progress and impact A balance of Speech Path initial assessments and shortterm therapy, working with children and their carers to build capacity Offer supervision and support to Grade 1s and students and contribute to peer supervision (Grade 2''s only) Participate in monthly multidisciplinary screening days with your colleagues Connect with kinders, schools, paediatricians & M&CHN Attend regular SP discipline and local team meetings Access regular and supportive supervision with an opendoor policy for support.
