Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Nominee to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia''s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.We''re seeking an Australian Qualified Advanced Electrical/ HVAC Supervisor for our trade team onsite within Yulara. We are looking for a fair supervisor who can liaise and coordinate sub-contractors and resort managers in a professional manner... so relationship management is a must! You will hold the same strong fault-finding experience in both Commercial and Industrial Work Environments as the team you will supervise. You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away!We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, an Australian Open Driver''s License is required for all our trades roles.Key DutiesConduct weekly inspections of all electrical work performed by unrestricted electricians, restricted electricians, and electrical contractors to ensure compliance with standardsVerify all unrestricted and restricted electricians maintain current Northern Territory licensing requirements and complete required work orders and legislative documentationInspect and report on all Ayers Rock Resort electrical infrastructure, preparing and submitting condition reports to the General Manager and Director of InfrastructureCollaborate with the Maintenance Planner to maintain an accurate and current electrical infrastructure databaseLead and supervise the Electrical team, providing technical guidance and direction for installation, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of plant and equipmentPerform hands-on electrical maintenance work while overseeing team operations and contractor activitiesCoordinate with the General Manager, Technical Services Maintenance Planner, and contractors to optimise resource allocation and prioritise maintenance and service programWhat you''ll have:Northern Territory unrestricted Electrical License, or ability to obtain without existing encumbranceSuccessfully completed Electrical Contractors Course including units of competency UEEEL0040 and UEEEL0002Open Driving licenseMinimum 3 years'' experience in an electrical supervisory roleDemonstrated experience as an Electrical NomineeProven experience in BMS operations and associated plant and equipmentStrong background in HVAC systems, including technology, work practices, fault investigation, and maintenanceWhats In It For YouFortnightly tool allowanceRoster - on call payment plus 3 hours pay for each call out3:1 Model - 3 weeks on a 1 week offDirect flights paid from Yulara to three Cities- Sydney, Brisbane, MelbourneYou''ll get a generous hourly rate, free accommodation at our contractor''s camp with utilities included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for in our contractors'' kitchen 24/7.
