It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 members including a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2,500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It operates a 22bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 15:30 Monday to FridayWeekday & weekend oncall shifts equally shared. What youll do Deliver highquality primary care to Defence members Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitnessforduty assessments and pre/postdeployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years GP experience in the last 5 years in a primary care setting Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patientcentred care Who we are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
