Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/39sjh9 - *About the role** nLatrobe Regional Health is looking for **Registered Nurse (HITH)** to join our growing team on a **part time ongoing and fixed term contracts available.**n The Registered Nurse (HITH) delivers acute Hospital in the Home (HITH, subacute Post-Acute Care (PAC) nursing and Infusion Centre services within the patient''s home or the HITH clinic. This role enables patients to receive high-quality, patient-centred care in the most appropriate setting, supporting recovery and reducing the need for inpatient hospital stays. n - *Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a secure, quality health service** nThe role of the **Registered Nurse (HITH)** is to:n - Provide hospital-level clinical care in the patient''s home, ensuring HITH clients receive the same standard of medical, nursing and allied health care as admitted patients. - Administer medications in the HITH clinic and provide relevant infusion services. - Conduct endocrine dynamic testing in accordance with clinical requirements. - Support patients connected to post-acute care nursing services and other Tier 2 programs. - Maintain staff and patient safety during community visits by following safety protocols, utilising patient safety checklists and carrying a duress alarm. - *About you** nIdeal candidates for this role will have:n - Current registration as Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA. - Integrity, strong communication skills, teamwork and a commitment to delivering patient-centred care. - Empathy, respect and adaptability when providing care in varied home environments. - Postgraduate qualifications in relevant area or progress towards (desirable). - At least two years of post-graduate experience and recent experience in HITH, acute or community nursing. - Commitment to safe practice, continuous improvement and the values and standards of LRH. - *Latrobe Regional Health offers a range of benefits including:** - Salary packaging up to $9,000 per annum. - Meals/Entertainment benefit up to $2,650 per annum. - Encouragement for professional development and ongoing education. - A range of social club activities, discounts and diverse workplace activities. - Free access to our Staff Wellbeing Centre offering health education and wellbeing - Access to discounted gym membership and fitness services through Fitness Passport Services.
