We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the site''s food safety and quality systems, strengthen quality culture and ensure we continue to meet the high expectations of our customers and regulators. The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager and working as part of the site Leadership Team, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the site''s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer and certification requirements. This is a handson leadership role that combines technical food safety expertise with people leadership. You will lead the QA team, partner with operations and product development, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen food safety, quality performance and operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the site Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer and certification standards Manage and oversee HACCP, GMP and quality assurance processes across the site Plan and lead internal, external and customer audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely closure of corrective actions Oversee ingredient and supplier approvals, microbiological testing, quarantine, hold and release processes Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality incidents, driving root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions Partner with operations and crossfunctional teams to improve systems, processes and quality performance Develop and deliver food safety and quality training, building strong ownership of GMP and risk management across the workforce Lead, coach and develop the QA team, fostering a strong food safety culture across the site About You You are a proactive and collaborative quality leader who is comfortable operating in a fastpaced food manufacturing environment. You combine strong technical knowledge with the ability to influence and partner with operational teams to drive better outcomes. You Will Bring Proven experience in a Quality Management role within food manufacturing Qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety management systems Experience leading internal and external audits and managing corrective actions Strong analytical and problemsolving capability Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams The ability to prioritise effectively, lead change and drive continuous improvement Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Sound understanding of Australian food safety legislation and regulatory requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
