About The Role Due to internal movement, ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support the team and residents at Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility on a fulltime basis, working a minimum of 38 hours per week on a rotating roster and to commence on a 6month maximum term contract. Terrace Gardens Aged Care facility is located in Palmerston and is a residential aged care facility housing 88 beds. This role is being offered on a penalty driven rate of $47.34 - $49.48 / hour gross base (dependent on skills and experience) plus salary packaging options. The role of Registered Nurse will see you providing clinical care to our elderly residents. You will bring care and compassion to your interactions and be someone who enjoys a handson role whilst also leading and supporting more junior staff, including our Support Workers, to develop their skills and ensure we are focused on quality care for our residents. This role is suited to an RN who can commit to a flexible and rotating roster. You will be required to work all levels of shifts, including AM, PM, and Overnight, and understand that your roster may change fortnightly to meet operational needs. Visa Sponsorship is NOT available with this role. Skills And Experience Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification. Full rights to work in Australia. Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide coordinated care. Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice. Demonstrated understanding of residentcentred and residential based care services delivery. Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural care team in a range of settings.
