Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Cardiac Cath Laboratory on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide highquality, patientcentred care across a range of interventional cardiology procedures, working alongside cardiologists, technicians, and allied health professionals in a highacuity, fastpaced environment. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, structured orientation, and ongoing professional development opportunities. The Position Provides direct total patient care to patients to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures and Care Paths. Demonstrates knowledge of and functions in accordance with legislation and common law affecting nursing practice and acknowledges accountability and responsibility for own actions. Ensures Infection Management policies and procedures are available to all staff and adhered to and implemented. Assist in completion of incidents / hazards / injuries reports. Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose an OHS risk. Communicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication. You will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and have recent clinical experience within Cath Lab. To succeed you will highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, ability to identify and solve problems, with a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction. The Benefits Salary: $51.70 to $65.25 per hour (casual loading included), plus 12% superannuation. Casual position available. As a casual employee, you can salary package a percentage of your earnings each pay period.
