The Artist as Fundraiser | Kaurna Country/Adelaide (13 Nov)The Artist as Fundraiser workshop is ideal for artists, producers and collectives looking to boost their knowledge, skills and confidence to build strategic supporter relationships and grow income from donations.Key infoProgram day: Thursday 13 November, 1.30pm to 5pm ACDTVenue: Imparilla, 161 Frome St, Adelaide, South AustraliaAimed at independent artists, producers and small collectives.The Artist as Fundraiser workshop is ideal for artists, producers and collectives looking to boost their knowledge, skills and confidence to build strategic supporter relationships and grow income from donations.This workshop will cover:Building your case for supportMapping your network and prospectsCultivating relationships, making the ask, stewarding supportersUsing the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) fundraising platformThe workshop will also provide an overview of ACF Boost , a matched funding program designed to enable independent artists and small groups or arts organisations using the ACF to leverage private sector support through a matched funding boost. ACF Boost offers dollar-for-dollar matched funding of up to $5,000 for applicants that run a fundraising campaign on the ACF platform between 2 February and 30 April 2026.Applications for ACF Boost will open on 27 October and close 17 November.Facilitated by Hannah Kothe, State Manager Development and Partnerships (SA/NT) at Creative Australia.Please note, this workshop is free and places are limited.Hannah Kothe is the State Manager Development and Partnerships (SA/NT) at Creative Australia. In her role she provides a free coaching and advice service that supports artists and arts organisations across South Australia and the Northern Territory to grow their fundraising capability and secure private investment. Hannah spent over a decade living and working in remote Central Australia, supporting First Nations artists and artsworkers to develop and deliver creative projects, grow their businesses and sustain and maintain cultural practice.
