As a passionate and experienced Hospitality Assistant, you will work as a member of our large hospitality team. Catering You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of catering, presenting, handling, preparing and storing food, in addition to associated cleaning tasks. Key Responsibilities Assist with the catering service to meet residents food requirements, including food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution and serving meals. Follow written protocols for special dietary requests. Assist with the preparation of the dining rooms. Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines. Maintain a high standard of cleaning in residents rooms and all general areas. Adhere to infection control, manual handling and WHS procedures. Maintain efficient and open communication. What you bring Experience in basic food preparation (preferred but not essential) Experience in micro-fibre cleaning (preferred but not essential) Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality Effective time management skills and experience in a fast paced environment Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia, including those who display challenging behaviours, and basic knowledge of the Aged Care standards (highly regarded) A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation Why work for Calvary?
