Job Description As a Permanent FullTime Demi Chef, you will lead the Kitchen team, organising food preparation (mise en place), keeping the work area clean and tidy, and collaborating seamlessly to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests. What You Will Be Doing Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment while ensuring products meet high quality and presentation standards. Prepare and ensure availability of mise en place as required. Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage; implement and maintain stock control procedures. Keep all working areas clean and tidy; maintain, service and clean equipment. Report problems to the Executive Chef. Organise an assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productively. Lead cooks and the kitchen team by setting a positive example and instructing and developing new chefs. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Trade qualifications. Previous experience with bulk hot food production in busy kitchens. Knowledge of food safety requirements. Completion of a Food Safety/Food Handling course preferred. Creative and passionate about food and customer service. Valid working rights for Australia.
