Trinity College maintains and operates two 21seater buses and a 43seater bus. These buses are used to transport Trinity College students to various schoolrelated events and locations during the school day, into the evening and potentially on weekends. Our drivers play a vital role in supporting both inside and outside of school hours programmes and extracurricular activities. Were looking for someone who is confident and flexible, able to undertake both short and long routes across the Northern Adelaide area and extending into the Southern Adelaide region. The bus driver reports to the Bus Coordinator on all the daily operations of the bus service provided to students at the school. Work hours will vary. All shifts are casual, and it is expected that the driver should know at least the day before what the hours on the next day will be. What You Will Do Maintain passenger safety at all times, obeying traffic laws and abiding by relevant College Policies. Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus, promptly reporting any issues or faults. Engage with students boarding and alighting the bus and provide additional mobility assistance as required. Conduct daily inspections of the bus to ensure safety and operational efficiency (including oil, water and tyre checks). Refuel the bus and prepare it for use by the next driver. What You Will Need To Succeed Demonstrated ability and experience driving large buses according to the law on busy metropolitan roads. A current drivers licence without restriction and relevant MR, HR or HC License. Large Passenger Vehicle Accreditation (Valid Department of Human Services Working with Children Check (WWCC). RRHANEC Fundamentals Certificate (First Aid Certificate (training supplied). Communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally and by Trinity College Values. Ability to adhere to a schedule and timeframes. Flexible approach to working a range of hours to accommodate a variety of schoolrelated travel. Able to work during school holidays. All Trinity College Staff must comply with the Colleges Child Safe Policy and adhere to the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
