Location: Loddon Mallee - Central Goldfields Reference: VG/1001064 Join our Ranger team at Castlemaine and help us provide exceptional park services, protecting our natural resources for future generations. About the role As a ranger at Parks Victoria, you will be working across a diverse range of tasks and activities all of which are aimed at preserving parks, engaging with the community and hands on maintenance of facilites. Your responsibilities as a ranger will include: conservation program delivery maintainance of our infrastructure engagement with local community groups working with Traditional Owners You will be playing a key role in delivering across a variety of projects ad-hoc practical tasks that are essential in keeping our Parks open, safe and clean. We''re looking for someone with: Relevant skills for the on-ground management of our Parks, such as trade skills, outdoor education and community engagement, or qualifications across environmental science, natural resource management or conservation and land management Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive team environment Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication, including the ability to explain concepts to people of different backgrounds and to engage constructively with colleagues and stakeholders The ability to work constructively with members of the public, volunteer groups and park users in delivering on-ground services and projects in parks and reserves Your application will need to include: A Current Resume A Cover Letter Application Close date: Sunday, 29 March 2026 Sound like you?
