We are currently on the hunt for multiple reliable and hardworking candidates to join the team of our client, one of the world''s leading logistics companies. We have a vacancy for a Freight Handler on the afternoon shift, working 3:30PM7:30PM, MondayFriday, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. Responsibilities - Freight sorting - Scanning freight as required - Loading/unloading of freight - Storing and packaging of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures - Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas - Admin and data entry as required - General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required Requirements - Freight sorting / warehouse experience highly desirable - Must be able to pass a National Police Check - Must be able and willing to pass a Drug and Alcohol assessment - Dangerous Goods Certificate (or willing to obtain) - RACA Certificate (or willing to obtain) - Physically fit - Positive attitude, motivated and a quick learner - Hold a current drivers licence and have own reliable transport - Intermediate to advanced PC skills Whats on Offer - Working for a reputable company with career opportunities - Potential temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate - Port Melbourne location - Great work culture on site #J-18808-Ljbffr
