Our MTW operation is an established operation that offers longevity and a great working environment.The Site Manager will be accountable for the management of Mt Thorley mine site, including the leadership, direction, and safe operational performance of the Otraco teams working on site. In addition, this role requires collaboration with leaders and peers within the greater client contract and wider Otraco teams.Unfortunately, camp accommodation is not available so this role would suit candidate residing locally for a DIDO role.Duties to include:To provide the leadership of the region including delivery of the scope of work along with improved safety performance and company KPI''s and MetricsDevelop the Otraco culture of a safe, innovative and performance focused businessTo ensure compliance to all legal and statutory requirementsLead by example in adhering and demonstrating company standards, policies, procedures, and valuesIn collaboration with the client, peers and the business, have a strong focus on the delivery of standardisation and innovation for the region.Drive innovation and improvements through day-to-day interactions and improvement programsIdentify discrepancies within the region and implement solutionsConduct audits of suppliers and assessment of products and ensure effective services delivery to clientsProvide recommendations to manage both on-site and off-site reconditioning of tyres and rims including repairs, re-treads and non-destructive testingAbout youThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Operational experience in the earthmover tyre, mining and/or related industry in a supervisory or equivalent leadership roleKnowledge of tyres or mining/heavy haulage industriesDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing business improvement and safety improvement initiatives in remote teamsStrong communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation skillsMinimum of 5 years of earthmover tyre fitting experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory/management roleCertificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR 21920) or similarCertificate III in Automotive Tyre Management (AUR 32613) or working towards qualificationSchedule 26Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or Leadership and Management would be highly desirableWhat we offerMonday to Friday, 10hr daysOpportunity to become part of market leading organisation dedicated to nurturing their people, personally and professionallyA supportive and dynamic team environmentNumerous financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits including salary sacrifice options, novated leasing, discounts, and support programsHow to applyWe are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, with a "can do" attitude looking to utilise their managerial experience in an environment that fosters progression and development.
