The Role: The CN is accountable to and works under the general direction and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager/Team Leader and/or Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Consultant/Clinical Nurse Specialist and receives guidance and support from other senior experienced Registered Nurses and health professionals for initiating, implementing, and evaluating quality nursing care. Responsibilities In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluate patient/client care. Interact effectively with patients/clients families and other health team members to facilitate the provision of optimum patient/client care. Active involvement in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care. This may include participation in research and evidence-based practice. Details of appointment Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months *hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary and benefits Salary: $80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful progression to Grade 4. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary packaging and allowances Salary Packaging: Youll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Regional Allowances: Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4% Benefits available to eligible candidates Professional development and accelerated pathways.
