The Library Service is part of the Leisure and Culture Branch that includes the City''s aquatic and recreation centre Leisure World, Don Russell Performing Arts Centre and Heritage Services, including the Wilkinson Homestead Museum.We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our library leadership team and help shape the future of library services in the City of Gosnells.In This Position You WillProvide leadership to the library programs team to develop, implement and deliver innovative and contemporary library programs, events and initiatives at the City''s four libraries.Establish partnerships for the delivery of library programs and initiatives.Develop volunteering opportunities to assist with the delivery of library programs.What We Are Looking ForTo be successful you must be able to demonstrate:Experience in the development and implementation of programs, events and education initiativesExperience in applying for and acquitting grant fundingDemonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and drive change management initiativesDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, to meet customer needs and business outcomesStrong communication and networking skills to engage with community members, stakeholders and service providersStrong organisational skillsEssential RequirementsWorking with Children CheckDriver''s licenceNational Police Clearance (less than three months old).
