They enjoy looking for business development opportunities to make our business successful.The opportunityWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Consultant with 10+ years of professional experience delivering work in strategic planning, organisational design and optimisation, policy, regulatory, evaluation, or review environments across the Australian health, human services, justice, or broader social sectors.As a senior consultant, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of a range of strategic projects to enable our clients to achieve their work programs. Working closely with other consultants across Allen + Clarke, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many challenging and rewarding matters that will genuinely make a difference.About youYou are a values-driven person, keen to bring about meaningful social change. You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex evidence into practical recommendations.Key Selection CriteriaWe want to hear from you if you have 10+ years experience:working in the health, human services, justice or social sectors in Australia, preferably as a consultant (government experience also valued)in one or more of the following areas: strategic planning; organisational design and optimisation; evaluations or reviews; policy or regulatory environments.working with quantitative or qualitative data (including stakeholder engagement)leading and managing projects from scoping through to deliverymanaging client relationships and ensuring high-quality outcomesproducing clear, concise reports, briefings and presentationscontributing to business development through drafting proposals or securing funding opportunities (which may include successful grant applications, partnership development, or other activities that demonstrate the ability to identify and win new work)successfully working in a team environmentmentoring or supporting junior staffmanaging multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to deadlines.Key personal attributeshave a can-do attitude, are highly organised and can work independentlyhave a strong client focus.Given the nature of the work we do, applicants must be eligible for Australian government security clearance, which is limited to Australian citizens.What we offerThis is an ongoing role based in Melbourne and may require some domestic and international travel.
