About the Role Reporting to the Security Engineering Lead, the Security Engineer will join the Security Architecture and Engineering team and play a key role in addressing current and emerging information security challenges. You will contribute to the design, configuration, assessment and implementation of security technologies, supporting the organisation in delivering secure, scalable and compliant solutions. This role operates in a fastpaced, cloudfirst environment and works closely with stakeholders across technology, risk and the broader business. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain security solutions that align with business objectives and global security standards. Create and uplift security capabilities across the organisation, ensuring a consistent and clientfirst security approach. Act as a technical escalation point for security controls, architecture and implementation decisions. Provide solutions to complex technical security challenges across varied environments. Design and support cloudfirst security architectures, with a strong focus on Microsoft and Azure technologies. Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives and agile delivery models. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational requirements relating to privacy, data protection and information security. Support assurance, audit and risk management activities, including ownership of corrective actions where required. Collaborate with internal teams across security, infrastructure, architecture, risk and compliance, as well as external vendors and auditors. Experience & Personal Attributes Were looking for someone who brings: Strong background as a Security Engineer, Security Analyst or technical lead within complex environments. Experience designing and supporting cloudbased security solutions, preferably within Azure. Solid understanding of application security, DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery. Handson experience with technologies such as Zscaler, CASB, OKTA, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD and related Microsoft platforms. Experience across cyber security domains including IAM, network security, endpoint protection, threat modelling, incident response and data protection. 5+ years experience in systems integration, consulting or handson implementation roles on major projects. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problemsolving skills. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cyber Security (preferred), with relevant certifications such as CISM, SSCP, CCSP or CRISC highly regarded. Why Join Us?
