As we continue to grow our talented nursing community, we are seeking an experienced, handson, registered Nurse and leader, who is passionate about both exceptional client care and empowering nurses through real, practical clinical education. This is a key Executive Leadership Team role and it''s one for a clinician who still loves being close to the work. About the Role Reporting to and working closely with our Chief Medical Officer and inhouse medical team, you will provide strategic clinical leadership while remaining genuinely connected to our participants and nursing workforce. This is not an entirely deskbound role; you will be visible on the floor of our homes, building trusting relationships with participants and their families, and delivering meaningful, handson clinical education to our growing team of nurses and disability support workers. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic clinical leadership in close collaboration with the CMO and our inhouse Doctor team, leveraging our Doctorled model to deliver bestinclass participant outcomes. Champion a culture of genuine, personcentred care being a visible, trusted clinical presence for participants, families, and the wider care team. Design and deliver handson clinical education programs that build real capability across our support staff and nursing team from safe onboarding of new participants through to ongoing skill development. Embed current bestpractice, evidencebased care across all clinical interactions and support workers'' practice. Oversee clinical governance frameworks, risk management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Provide Executive Leadership Team and Boardlevel reporting on clinical outcomes, risks, and quality indicators. Be the confident, credible clinical face of Maxlife Care for participants, families, and external stakeholders demonstrating that we have the right systems, people, and medical backing to manage complex clinical and behavioural needs. In terms of travel we have 40+ sites and growing, so there is some travel from Newcastle and the Central Coast, Sydney metro and down to Wollongong and Nowra, supporting more than 80 clients, with more clients to come on board. About You A genuinely experienced clinician you haven''t lost touch with what great client care looks like, and you bring that into everything you do. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, with a minimum of five years'' postregistration experience in complex or highneeds clinical environments. Demonstrated experience leading and developing nursing teams, ideally within NDIS, disability, aged or community care, or other complex care settings. Strong capability managing complex clinical and behavioural presentations. Experience in clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement.
