Machine Operator Crestmead Crestmead, Brisbane QLD Fulltime | Rotating roster | 4day work week (Fridays off!) - $34.00 / hr on dayshift - $39.10 / hr on afternoon shift Are you looking for a longterm opportunity to develop your skills with a leading manufacturer? We are seeking a reliable Factory/Machine Operator (extruder machine) to join our team in Crestmead. Whats on offer - Fulltime hours: 38 hours per week, worked across 4 days (Friday off). - Weekly rotating shifts: - Day Shift: MonWed 6am4pm, Thu 6am2pm - Night Shift: MonWed 4pm2am, Thu 4pm12am - Training provided, with the opportunity to grow into a permanent position. - Be part of a supportive team environment with longterm career prospects. Key Responsibilities - Machine set up/break down and operate extruder machine in line with procedures. - Operate extruder machine while maintaining production efficiency. - Pack final products ready for quality assurance testing. - Work safely and effectively as part of the factory team. About You - Prior extruder machine operation experience in manufacturing (essential). - Mechanically minded, quick to learn, and proactive with a cando attitude. - Physically fit and capable of moving 20kg+ regularly. - Forklift licence - Drivers licence and reliable transport. - Strong awareness of workplace health & safety procedures. - Cable manufacturing experience highly regarded.
