In this role, youll uncover and respond to breaches of key legislation, working on matters that directly impact public safety and compliance across the state. Education Qualifications / Licences A current driver licence is essential. Investigation techniques qualification (or equivalent experience) will be highly regarded. Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment which must be renewed every five years before expiry. Clearance outcome must be suitable to be appointed as an Authorised Officer under Motor Vehicles Act 1959, Passenger Transport Act 1994 and other Acts as required. Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required. Tenure of Vacancy Temporary appointment up to 12 months.
