The Head Chef position is a great opportunity to move into an essential and secure industry. Every day you will be making a difference in peoples lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families. The Head Chef will have:Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef, preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management in an aged care (or similar) environment.Experience managing staff, as well as food and operational costs.Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements for aged care consumers.Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or proven equivalent experience).A real commitment to working safely, fabulous teamwork skills, basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference.
