We help others with lifechanging support that can improve their independence, access, development, health and wellbeing, and function. We would love to hear from Occupational Therapists with all levels of experience who enjoy the flexibility of working in both community and clinic settings. Job Description We are looking for an OT to join our supportive and social Tamworth team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a wider multidisciplinary team who support each others challenges and wins. No two days are ever the same! You might find us in daycare centres, schools, homes, and even on outreach trips to Gunnedah and surrounding areas. We might even bump into you on one of our monthly Wellness Walks down by the river we love supporting our regional area. Successful candidates will provide supports to NDIS participants living in the following areas, depending on where you live: Tamworth, Watsons Creek, Upper Manilla, Gunnedah, Wallabadah and surrounding areas. Responsibilities will include: Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services Assess participants developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant Provide evidencebased therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals Mentor and nurture earlycareer clinicians Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance Whats in it for you?
