Communities is an Accredited Carer Friendly Employer under the Carers + Employers program, promoting best practice standards to support staff balancing work and care while contributing to community wellbeing.The OpportunitiesLevel 3 Financial Planning and Analysis Officer prepares and assists in the preparation of various internal and external financial reports and statutory returns, performs budget analysis and provides financial management services to designated directorates.Level 4 Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Officer assists in the preparation of financial reports (including the Annual Report and State Budget Papers), monitors budgets and maintains financial costing models for service costing. Collaborates with Managers and staff to ensure high-quality service.Level 4 Project Officer provides administrative support to the Manager and project team to support successful project delivery and assists other teams to ensure project success.Level 5 Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst responsible for monthly financial report packages, analyses major variances with recommended strategies, ensures budget information integrity and assists in annual budget development and quarterly reviews.Level 6 Senior Project and Financial Planning Analyst prepares and monitors budgets and reports (including the Executive Management Report); provides project coordination and support and collaborates with Managers and staff to deliver high-quality service.Level 6 Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst prepares and monitors budgets, maintains information in the Treasury SIMS system, develops/maintains financial costing models, and prepares the Executive Management Report; collaborates with Managers and staff to deliver high-quality service.Level 6 Senior Financial Accountant coordinates and prepares monthly reporting, annual financial statements, balances reconciliation reviews, and develops/maintains policies aligned with government standards and legislation.The Talent RegisterThe Talent Register is an online portal to register interest for full-time and part-time opportunities that are fixed term/secondment up to 12 months or transfer at level for existing permanent public sector employees.The register is actively monitored, and applicants may be contacted if opportunities matching skills arise.
