As an Assessment Officer, you will review complex information, interpret statutory requirements and analyse evidence to determine whether breaches have occurred, providing clear, well reasoned and defensible recommendations that support CBSs regulatory functions.You will manage your own matters from end to end while working collaboratively with complainants, colleagues and stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate and consistent assessment outcomes. The Assessment Officer operates within a complex, politically sensitive and changing regulatory environment and is responsible for administering almost forty pieces of legislation. The Assessment Officer is required to exercise sound judgement and autonomy under general direction in the application of legislative frameworks, agency procedures and policies to administrative decision making.Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
