The Opportunity As the Team Leader, Project Management, Assurance and Governance, you''ll support strong governance and assurance across the Department''s major infrastructure projects. You''ll help ensure projects follow the Department''s Project and Program Management Framework, as well as relevant State and Federal standards. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you''ll provide practical guidance across the project lifecycle and help drive continuous improvement in project management practices and frameworks. This is a dual-classified opportunity at ASO7 or PO4 level, depending on your qualifications and experience. About You You''re an experienced project professional with a solid understanding of project governance and assurance in complex environments. You bring: Experience working across large or complex projects Knowledge of project management frameworks and standards Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A practical, collaborative approach to improving ways of working Educational Qualifications PO4 Degree in Engineering providing eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia. A degree in Project Management or Construction Management will be highly regarded. A qualification in change management will be highly regarded. Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
