Dyers Distribution, a familyowned company, has been providing quality transport services since 1932. We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The role is based at our Northern suburbs customer site and is fulltime with an excellent salary package. Responsibilities Supervise a team of regular company and contracted drivers. Accountable for KPIs including Safety, DIFOT, utilisation, turnaround, etc. Supervise drivers delivering throughout metropolitan Adelaide. Manage reverse logistics. Schedule and allocate jobs, orders, runs and loads utilising a TMS. Liaise directly with customers'' transport managers and supervisors. Maintain delivery and driver schedules. Utilise IT systems GPS, temperature monitoring, TMS, etc. Handle administrative duties including TMS housekeeping. Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair requests. Participate in audits, driver training and implement corrective actions. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, including conducting safety meetings, safety reporting, safety incident investigations and toolbox talks. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in supervising a distribution, multidrop transport or distribution operation. Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Understanding of COR requirements. Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Commercial acumen. Strong knowledge of systems, processes and controls required to maintain operation excellence. Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office and the companys proprietary software. Having an HR/HC licence an advantage, or willingness to obtain it through the company training program.
