Overview Help deliver community events. Amazing people and locations. Heaps of fun. Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens, to name a few of the roles we have available. Get involved Register once for free on our website you will get a unique parkrun ID. Find your nearest parkrun on our website and either email the event or message on Facebook about helping out. Come along on Saturday morning and have a fun morning helping in the community and meeting new people. Lending a hand at parkrun is open to anyone from four years old. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like at any parkrun event. If you want to meet new people, have fun, learn new skills, use your skills, build confidence and contribute in a positive way to your community, helping at parkrun is a great place to start!
