Refinery Forklift Loader - Harwood Sugar Mill Sunshine Sugar''s Harwood site is seeking a Refinery Forklift Loader to join the refinery team, on an initial 12 month contract. The role works on a rotating schedule, with a mix of night and day work. As a Refinery Forklift Loader, you''ll be responsible for various tasks: Operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner Loading of palletised product onto trucks in a busy work environment Accurately filling in dispatch and loading documentation Adhering to Chain of Responsibility requirements Identifying and escalating food safety & quality issues, hazards and risks Unloading, consolidating, and staging pallets of goods across our operations Other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager to support the needs of the business, including cleaning We are looking for: A current Australian Forklift licence (High Risk Work Licence) Previous extensive experience with forklift operations involving loading palletised goods onto transport A commitment to working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect The ability to understand and follow instructions & procedures while working within a team environment Experience in loading procedures, demonstrated understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Safety requirements Attention to detail to inspect items before being loaded and confirm goods quality Demonstrated accountability on delivering customer needs and ability to work autonomously To be considered for this role, please upload a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role along with your resume.
